MODERN REUSE

This growing family had their heart set on an open floorplan kitchen plus living room to entertain kids and grandparents. Which meant significantly changing the layout of the Victorian house. in an effort to reduce our environmental footprint, we reused many architectural details, including the baseboards and ceiling plates. This allowed us to maintain an authentic feel to the period home while modernizing it to better suit the busy family’s lifestyle.
